The Rose Garden

Melanie chopped down the trees (Not by herself, of course) That Jackie planted, just so she Could get on her high horse. The critics all swooped in to say It’s “empty,” “cold,” and “white,” Replacing all the flowers That were colorful and bright. My favorite comment goes like this: (Or something thereabout) “Who switches up their garden when They’ll soon be moving out?”

It was a terrible waste of money to uproot the garden and replace it with a background that would be nationally televised. I hope it's restored in the spring by a new first lady. Congrats on your potd, Ilene.

No need for a photographer when you have pen in hand! Well done! But I am wondering if Melania made The White House garden white so her husband would win - or lose - the election as a racist! Aloha! Rico
