The Rose
The rose has awakened from its slumber
Like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon
Becoming more vibrant as it grows
It quickly reveals it has two sides
Like that of a two edged sword
It can bring pleasure and it can bring pain
But time is not its friend
For it quickly begins to wither and fade
But not before it leaves its fragrance
On those it has known
