The Rose

Dont forget the rose blossoming in the spring
blushing softly with tints of red, white and green
the morning sun bringing cool drops of dew
and rainbows when all is thru

dont forget the buttercup, or memories gone past
lying amongst meadows of flowers and sweet grass
yellow and gold in the early sun
 caressing the deep blue sky
 waiting for all the fun

And most of all dont forget the woman blushing lightly
caught in hazy dreams of hidden delight
beauty and youth hers to claim
smiling sweetly in exchange
like snow melting the man walks softly
as passion ignites the flame

Inspired by Klaudette, a beautiful work of art
