The Rope

Jute or hemp
braided, twisted, twirled
coiled neatly
waiting for heavy metal

Thin and leather-like

through the green mist.
Guiding -

Swinging new and fresh
from cross bar or chandelier
looped tightly around white skin
gasping for air
no pills needed.
Releasing -

Madalin Bickel, you've expressed yourself well, I like the last line. Please keep writing and sharing your poetry when you have time. Love ~LINDA~

Oh wow.. This is so tragic but beautifully written. I myself know personally this horrid pain. Thank you for writing this. I now am feeling like i can write about my personal experience. Suicide is a very sensitive subject and I feel your pain. much love and respect. hello and nice to meet you.
