The Rock and the Waterfall

The rock and the waterfall

It forces me down
I cannot budge
Hundreds of years
Not one nudge

It pounds my back
Always, relentless
The weight is so strong
Time is so senseless

A thousand more years
Have come and gone
I have no energy
I feel so numb

Thousands of years now
Its shaped me as so
The forms that we made
Are here to show

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
