The Rock

You were the rock
Of the family
You held us together
And kept us strong
You were like a lion
When you roared
Everybody listened
An stood at attention
That’s how powerful
You were
But father time
Begin to chip away
At the rock
Who begins to crack
Into small pieces
Chipping and chipping
Away at you until
You turn into dust
That flew away with
The wind

Time and tide waits for noone. No one is so powerful that they can stop the march of time. Congratulations on your win in Brian's competition.
