The Road To the Altar

A young lad may fear
   the coming years
How will he make a living

His elders might
   impart this advice
Increase your charitable giving

A young lass may despair
   that Cupid cares
to target her betrothed

Her elders might
   impart this advice
Feed the hungry, the naked clothe

Just busy yourself with good deeds
God, and matchmakers, will pay heed

We sure do... And you mean to tell me that young lady was already 2.5 years old and hadn't found a match yet?! … :) gw
