The Road To Love

Oh my sweet love,
I’ll wait until the road that takes you,
                                      brings you home
Till you no longer hear the call to roam
     When every day that wakes you, knows my name
Until that day, I burn, a lonely flame

  
     Oh my sweet love, 
At times, the road is chosen for us,
                                                     even so
If there is only one thing you can know
                    My love will always be here with the sun
To guide you back to me when day is done


    Oh my true love,
I know that there will come a time when 
                                          hearts can rest
And you will know that you have done your best
            And in those golden years, our love will shine
The only road that you will know is mine
