The Road To Glory

You have never failed to comfort
When I've come to You in pain.
You've been with me through the darkness
In the sunshine and the rain.

Though the world has seemed uncaring
And completely unaware,
I have known you walked beside me
And I've rested in Your care.

I cannot know how long my journey
Nor the turnings yet to be,
But the long road leads to Glory when
My savior walks with me.
