The Road of Life

Walking along
The road of life
A flowing song
A dull blunt knife

Dragging across
The flesh of sin
The sea of loss
The next of kin

My minds not right
It is not straight
It works in spite
Of my mental state

I need some help
I can not sleep
Nor be upheld
All I keep

And all I hold
Is to climb the steep
And to keep me bold

To help me rise
Umongst the saints
And keep my eyes
Above the waves

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
