The Road Less Traveled
Journey into the world of wonder
Where reality is there to uncover
Learned to crawl, walk, and run
The ride started right before it began
The passage looked like a straight line
To a youthful soul everything was fine
A few bumps emerged here and there
None of which is such a big scare
Midway, conditions suddenly changed
Rains poured while thunders raged
Choices were laden to deal with chaos
An easy way out or dare to cross
The gate to hell is wide and open
Offering illusive bliss, an end to pain
The door to nirvana seems narrower
Yet eternal promise is there to consider
At the end of the rainbow is a pot of gold
Beyond the dark tunnel the bright light unfolds
But the way to heaven is hard to unravel
It should be it…yet it’s the road less traveled!
