The Road I'M On
36
Dark, dark
Is the road I’m on
Cold, cold
Air on the breeze
Slowly, slowly
I walk passively
And I didn’t mean
To start a fire
But every movement
Every touch
Feeds me like
A wild goat
Full of desire
I feel the fire
Inside raging like
A tornado
Tearing up all
I used to think
I knew about love
Your one crazy
But your love is smooth
Sultry savage beastly
Calm cool and caring
Damp dreary and awakening
My senses I feel every
Part of you like a virus
Passing from me to you
With your little hand in mine
Sometimes when I see you
Your beauty is overwhelming
You simmer shine
Until I’m blind
I turn away
And say
I love you...
