The Road I Pave

The road I pave, made with sharp jagged stones, they represent all the hardships, I've had to over come. With pointed sharp shards, that will cut like a knife, these stones will show no mercy, they have an enticing invite. I've walked these same stones, many times in my life, only now have I chosen, to lay them in plain sight. Why would I pave a road. of such that will maim, an endless road of agony, it's only purpose is pain. My life has been a journey, with many twists and turns, so I pave this road for you (my children), to show you where I went wrong. Hi M & M. I read some of your poetry yesterday and was quite fascinated by it. Your work is new to me but rings a familiar theme. Enjoyed reading this winner this morning too. Congrats to you. You wrote of your life so eloquently here! Gwendolen

I liked it, but it was also sad I thought. And if it be true, I hope that it will all be better, it will end up in the right. -Halie lol

Thanks for the comment, ahh at a guess i'd say 95% of what I write are my own life experiences. Still trying to develop as a writer.
