The Road and Eyes

The road renews itself in endless beginnings,
every blade of grass, every leaf along the way
reflects itself in another, in myriad variety,
the sky caresses its face in lakes,
clouds mingle spirits with the mist on mountain tops
and I see myself in yours and every eye I meet
on the way as a gypsy-wanderer in the heart of time and love.
