The road

I am a busy and the mostly used level road which connects the cities to follow.

I take all the pain due to laden speedy vehicles on my chest in a speedy go.

I take the immensely loud noises and extreme heats in dry sunny days not a long ago,

I wet myself in heavy rains and never escape even during cyclonic storms in dismay.

I cry for the victims of unfortunate incidents and hold the bodies and belongings of their remains,

People of all caste, creed, colour and gender use my body as a medium to sustain.

I am silently watching everyone to provide a plot and platform for smooth go without being detained.

My surface scars are deepening and worsening and has no chance to recover,

I promise and assure to give my every bit to help in making a clear way for all my fellow survivors.
