The River of Time
I see you
in my dreams
my little boy
so trusting
waiting
for me
to take
you away
from dad's
sciopathy
But what
you don't
understand
Is l
was under
the spell
of dysfunction
Your dad
was selling
a love
so freely
It was a
fraud
That was
hard to
understand
and you
were
left behind
But it
took time
for me
to understand
that the
love for sale
came with
conditions
that I
couldn't meet
and I had
to pay
with losing
you
and I
hated myself
for letting
you down
But
how can
I win
against
sciopathy
So
this is
my time
to tell you
how much
you shine
within
my heart
and
take this
time to
realize
how much
you
really mean
to me
that your
soul is
intwined
with mine
and that
I care
about your
future
that I
know
you have
the ability
to rise
and shine
Oh my
baby
please
listen to me
I'm your mom
and I
love you
so
universally
and you
will rise above
this apathy
and show
sciopathy
that he
has not won
that I
am saving
something
in my dreams
in believing
that I will
be beside you
and be able
to see
what you are
becoming
because of
those dreams
I see of
you being
true free
and
loving me
and I
loving you
so freely
