The River Flows

The river flows like our lives do
From one point to the next
Whatever we do

The river flows until its dry
It’s time to spread the wings
It’s time to fly

The river flows without the end
I cherish the time
Together we spend

The river flows all day and night
What’s for me tomorrow
I shiver in fright

The river flows marking its way
For better tomorrow
We all should pray

The river flows, flows with no fear
The end of time
It’s clearly near

The river flows with love and hate
To save us all
It’s not to late

Let’s raise together stand hand in hand
And spread the love across the land
For our children stay strong and tall
For our children it's worth fighting for

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
