The Risen Lord

There is a true story you may have been told. This is a true story that never grows old. It happened thousands of years ago. It is from the Bible as you may know. Jesus died upon the cross. For mother Mary, it was a tragic loss. He was buried in a tomb that day, Three days later, the stone was rolled away. And then, there was a beautiful sight. An angel appeared, all dressed in white. Jesus is no longer here. But don't worry, you have nothing to fear. He has risen on this glorious day! So your sins may be taken away. Believe in him, and you shall have everlasting life. Even the man wielding a knife. So on this Easter day, Shout and rejoice, and yell hooray! For he brings peace and hope to all, Jesus will be there when you call.
