The Rise of a Blood Stained Phoenix

I plummet to the earth,
Like a meteor.
With head still pointed,
Towards the heavens that shine in the sky.
Body and soul raved by the fall.
And
Yet I still rise out of the rubble,
Like a phoenix with bloodstained wings.
I look towards the heavens in the sky once more,
Then I fly higher and higher with,
More determination than ever.
For if heavens won’t come to me,
Then I will simply soar towards them.
