The Right Way
God so loved the world that he gave his son
Yet we run
From what he has done
And we shun
When the battle was already won
He gives us power over the snakes
Fakes
Past mistakes
Yet, we choose
Crack, cocaine and boozes
He said, to “Taste and see that the lord is good”
He don’t care if you’re from the hood
He gives back the years
Tears,
Takes the fears,
Peals,
Heals,
Everything the devil steals
Give him a chance
A sweet romance
Give him a try
He is the one being that will never lie
This world is getting darker by the day
Get on your knees and pray
He will gladly lead the way.
