The Right Road

I did not remember
which road was the right,
and was just moving on
from darkness to light.
And all shadows of darkness
I left behind,
towards a brighter future,
in escape of my mind.

I followed the daydreams,
to discover my way,
left all burden behind
and what others might say.
I learned to discover,
to find out the truth.
And being thoughtful as I could,
I found the right road
safely and smooth.

LIke another version of the road less travelled. Very nicely done ,this older post of yours . Yes, it is difficult to keep up on posts. But I figure I have enough poetry filed away to take me for at least three more years. WHEEEEE
