The Right Atmosphere

I have made my list and checked it twice, Now it is time to give my advice, So get out your recording device. All the good leaders I have known, Have always shown, How not to frown, And not put me down, Never acting like a clown. All the good one spend time creating the right atmosphere, One that is devoid of fear, They like their facts to be clear, Check the price is not too dear, All the good ones tend to catch people doing things right, And don't often give them a fright, Don't mind sharing the lime light, Never turned up to work tight. All the good ones pick their team wisely, Cast their net widely, Don't move forward blindly, Look on everyone kindly. All the good ones are approachable, And mostly stable when at the table, Their behaviour not often questionable, Or detestable. All the good ones expect the occasional no, Are not always on the go, But never let the grass grow. All the good ones know their job is on the line, Some expert advice they are able to decline, When advice from you and me will do just fine. All the good ones are not one man bands, Understanding the need for helping hands, All the good ones seldom swear, Spend their time creating the right atmosphere, That makes us dare to care, When voting time comes near.
