The Revelation
The well-dressed man walked
through a portal
With his head held high
Wearing a trench coat with an
upturned collar
A trilby hat pulled down over his
eyes
He was a tall man who strode
through the doorway
With a confident air
A man you could not patronize
He would be aware
Why? this fixation for this man
Why? the intrigue
As he was fast approaching
I felt a spontaneous need to call
I opened my mouth wide to SHOUT
Nothing came out at all
His nearness was tangible
I could almost hear him breathe
As I started to navigate towards
him
I will make this revelation
I went to meet my husband
From the Railway Station!
