Caren Krutsinger Poet Free verse

The Resident Cartoonist

I am the resident cartoonist
in this residence
My husband is the only other resident
Except for the dogs
and the missing cat

I am the resident poet too
Although my husband wrote poetry first
He has written two or three really good poems
But he likes my poems better
He is a wise man.
