The Recital

A wreath of daisies in her hair,

She twirls and dances, hands in air.

Beautiful child, blond haired doll,

Smiling a smile to dazzle them all.

Proud mother's eyes shining bright

On this, her child's, recital night.

Fiercely proud of her little one.

Applauding the loudest when dance is done.

I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Francine. I will not be reading poetry for a few days as I will be gone from Friday until Monday. I look forward to reading more of your poetry when I return. I wish you a weekend filled with good health, love, and loads of inspiration. Love and Blessings, Carol
