The Realm of the Untold

Two girls playing in the wood

Two girls at the bottom of the garden.

Two girls nieces of mine.

Two girls find something that frightens.

A skull with scars and silent dark cries.

The still lake erupts with a tide.

No wind and nowhere to hide.

The water claims back what's lost

Then calms the girls cries and teardrops.

Two girls found a natural force out there.

Two girls whose lives will always have to bear.

The evil they found in the face of the once been

They will never understand what it means.

Just be witness to what they should not have seen.

The spirits of the lake will remain cold.

From a massacre of centuries old.

The truth is buried out there.

The lake where no one should dare

To enter the realm of the untold.

The truth out there will never be told.
