The Reality of Them

In the darkness of night I am awakened
To the reality of dreams entering my mind
The power they have, to offer us fantasy
Giving us places, people, left there to find

To the reality of dreams entering my mind
Everything can change, opposites, then real
I know I am smiling, though still there asleep
Because of my dreams and the new things I feel

The power they have, to offer us fantasy
Is immense as they give us everything for night
All we ever wished or desired or craved
Is bestowed upon us for bliss and delight

Giving us places, people, left there to find
We have chances to speak to those who have passed
Dreams are a gift meant for the pleasure of man
Our only wish then is that they would last
