The Reality of Contentment

Learn well what contentment really means being happy having all that you need wise is the person who doesn't grieve but rejoices in receiving the fruit of His seed Many prayers been often raised on high God has answered with a no or wait yout reaction has not felt to be content so are you not willing in your present state Learn well the reality of contentment Fanny Crosby said what a happy soul am I blind she was but resolved contented I'll be though blind she would not weep and sigh Optimists are people whose glass is half full so it's the best and happiest way to live for who's faith is in Jesus Christ alone have something beyond optimism a jewel For hope that makes our glass overflow as having the God of hope, joy and peace the one who supplies us to be content receiving what God offers to never cease (In 3rd stanza I spoke of Fanny Crosby who was a blind hymn writer who has written many great and wonderful hymns.)

Very wise words of wisdom Gordon. Seems like the more we have the ore we want and when you live that way yu are never content. The Bible tells us to store up our treasures in Heaven for where your treasure is there will your heart be also. Great job. God Bless my friend. JB

Gordon, my wealthy sister is like one of those you describe who always feel like they're not getting or achieving enough. I try to be more thankful for what I do have. Faith has always brought me joy. A wonderful poem, so well composed! Hugs, Carolyn
