The Reality
The Reality
As I look around, all I see is that
A storm has struck the ground;
And it's causing havoc all around.
Major issues within our country,
Like the officers that were meant to protect us,
Are too busy trying to judge us.
The innocent fall empty handed,
To a gun in the protector’s hand.
Due to prejudice, an officer responsible
Can get off with little consequence.
Now let’s look at the world of politics.
I understand that we all have different opinions
And that’s a good thing.
However, that doesn’t mean
We have the right to point fingers and criticize.
We say “United We Stand”,
Yet we have two parties with opposite plans.
President Lincoln said;
“A nation divided against itself cannot stand.”
The time has come for the kingdom to come to life.
Step up to the plate and take a leap of faith,
Be a catalyst for change, like a hurricane.
Rebuild a nation from the root
And lay down a kingdom foundation.
Start at the heart of the problem,
And work for a solution;
That will spark the kingdom revolution.
We need to call in Handy Manny,
And maybe Bob the Builder can lend a hand.
Spread his word like a virus
Praying that others find it,
The treasure worth seeking, a life worth living,
A father worthy of our reflection.
Rebuild our nation for the king,
Wake us up from a night time dream.
Some may see us as sleepers,
But our father calls us dreamers,
And we’re just now realizing
Our role in his kingdom.
