The Real Woman You Are

I have heard stories
Never really sure you existed
Never really known if they were true
But there was always a bit of mystique
You hide between sunlight and darkness
Never wanting or able to be found
Even so, my thoughts are of you
Wondering what kind of woman you are
The woman hidden behind the stories
Can you feel safe enough to show yourself
Will you allow yourself to feel love
Will you be the woman I dream you are
And will you let me love you
