The Real Me: I Am Nothing (Part 4 In "evernightly" Series)

stars gaze down with probing eyes,
lovingly caressing their lovers.
i wait for mine....
he said he would return....
where has he gone?
he has been long....he wouldn't leave;
no man can resist me in this form......
i will search, if i do not find him,
i spread my search thin....
we are nothing....he is nothing
i am nothing without him.
my curse is to fall in love with a mortal.....
2 years and fortnight to do such a thing,
i thought it to be easy....
but it's hard....waiting; nothing but waiting...
why is my beauty a curse?
it's unreal, it's unsightly....
sometimes i really hate being Ever-nightly!
