The Raindrops.
raindrops with mischievious faces,
skip through clouds holding relay races,
jaunting and frolicing all the day,
making the most from skies of grey.
one says"lets go and have some fun
before we get the noonday sun
surely we'll find somebody to soak
oh lets go out and play a joke
we will look for an open topped car
then we'll splash down from afar,
ooh we can have so much fun,
if we go now before the noonday sun,
april is our best month you know,
or the winter when we play with snow,
but the summer is too hot and dry,
it takes lots of energy for us to cry,
the sound we make goes splish and splash,
and all you humans have to dash,
because we love to drip and drop,
cos the rain you see you can not stop."
