The Rainbow's End

Listen to poem:
At the end of every rainbow there lies a pot of Gold Or so hail all the Stories that I have been told But what do my Wondering Eyes behold? A Greater Treasure today here unfolds A Greater Treasure for some indeed For at the end of this rainbow lies a Steed! A Fair Creature that can truly make one’s Heart Sing A creature treasured by both Pauper and King Their Strength surpassed only by their Humility While Chiseled Beauty defines their Nobility So if Treasures of the Heart are what you seek Next time you see The Bow just take another peek One might just find the Truest of Friends Waiting there at The Rainbow’s End!

This is so beautifully written Chris. Horses are one of the most honored animals for a good reason. I can tell how the rainbow inspired you to write this honoring both. Just lovely! Happy St. Patrick's Day! : )

Beautiful rhymes and imagery canter smoothly through your graceful poem, Chris. Your amazing poem contains two things I love; rainbows and horses. An exquisite, rhythmic write that I enjoyed listening to and reading. Your voice is wonderful as is your photo. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Beautiful! Surprising us with a steed then a hopeful promise of the truest of friends. Then my mind goes back to the steed, perhaps he is that treasured friend! A fave, Chris!

A very enjoyable poem in a pretty rhyme scheme, Chris. Both your love for nature and for horses take centre stage. Having you reading the poem is undoubtedly an added bonus:) Warm regards // paul
