The Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge
by Robert (Bob) Moore ©2022

Every time the Heaven bell rings,
another Angel, receives their wings
the bells rang loudly on this day,
it was the day you went away.

The Angels gathered round the throne,
to welcome another Angel home,
a sister who had fought the fight,
and now had moved, into the light.

Today you crossed the Rainbow Bridge
old friends were waiting there,
and family who had missed you so
to give you love and care,

To help you in this new stage
of a journey we all face,
a time of joy and happiness
to be had in this new place,

But those who you have left behind
are sad to see you go,
and mourn for you, in their own way
but they will one day know,

The joy of meeting once again
and be together in heavens place,
remember times which we once knew
and to kiss your loving face,
