The Rainbow

A humid storm is looming and I'm feeling rather heady We rush inside and close the doors, for the down pour we are ready We watch from windows up above, the puddles forming fast Huge raindrops just like pearls are falling down at last The sky is looking clearer and the air is clearer too Just look yonder there's a rainbow in the sky that's turning blue It's a beauty in the sky when the sunshine follows rain Reflecting like a prism on your rain soaked window pane It's only there for seconds but it takes my breath away The beauty of that rainbow will return another day .
