The Rain

The rain was my friend
I loved it
The way it streamed down my face, tracing my smile
As it drips completely to the earth
I loved the feel of it falling on my head
The sound when I was drifting to dreamland in my bed
But now, I don't love it anymore
You loved it
You still do
But then you told me, "I don't love you anymore"
I can't love the rain anymore.
My tears are now the rain streaming down my face.
