Notes About The Poem

I wrote this just now and its sort of a true story.  The time was around 11 or 12am and copied it to poetry soup later in the morning.

The Quiet

What if I don't speak, hardly say a word?
Will you understand all of the quiet verbs?
Silence complete was the room scented with
A fragrance in the heated month of June
Can you hold a silent conversation?

I have plenty of patients and tranquil
Compilations with learned durations, few.
Do you hear whispers of a quiet love?
So tender such a lonely touch, quietly
Seeking a word quiet is patient and hears

The question: HOW CAN YOU BE SO QUIET?
The reply: just simply close your mouth.
Listen.... they never stop.
GOD IS QUIET TOO.
