The Quest
When life starts beating you down,
And everyone you meet sports a frown.
It’s hard to look above the gloom,
When all we read is destruction and doom.
When you see someone in despair,
Extend a hand and show you care.
Be the first to offer praise,
It really goes a long, long ways.
Extend kindness to those you meet,
Often times our rewards can be so sweet.
Help someone who needs a hand,
They might even think you’re mighty grand.
You can be the one to turn things around,
Be a positive instead of a negative ground.
Make life happen don’t stand and wait,
Cause if you do you might be late.
It’s not about who’s the best,
But it’s about letting happiness be your utmost quest.
