The Queens Tale
The Queen enjoyed her time being married to the King,
Because she could always spend her day purchasing anything.
The shopkeepers in the town would cheer whenever she came near,
And if she’d neglected their shop each one would shed a tear.
The Queen had a knack for setting the style for the ladies of the land,
The type of clothes that she would wear became the one’s in highest demand.
It was said that Queen Maggie possessed a most discriminating eye,
And that her vision of what was in style is what every woman wanted to buy.
The vision of the Queen was true and it got her through thick and thin,
But it was only the King that ever knew, her vision could save his skin.
