The Queen Online

The Queen Online

By Elton Camp

By creating a royal presence online
The Queen moves into modern time
At Her Highness we can take a look
By her account there on Facebook

But from the way that it is used
It’s clear the Queen is not amused
So unlike all of the common folk
It’s not allowed the Queen to poke

Likewise, she sure does not intend
That you will list her as a friend
And it will not be allowed at all
Any insults to write on her wall

There is a thing that surprises me
Just how busy the Queen can be
Not just hid behind her castle wall
She goes and meets great and small

But I think it might well be more fun
If her screen name were Granny One
I must admit that it is a good start
From her aloof image now to depart

Hi Elton.Still we live in modern times. And I understand H.R.H has a keen wit and I love your's also.I.don't know what it means to poke someone on Facebook, perhaps you could tell me.As for being her friend ,we'd probably have to sign the official secrets act. Also government agents would be watching and treason is still a punishable offence So don't think I,ll bother.Agree, nice to see H.R.H doing what common people do,she is only human after all. Thanks for the fun write.Love June(Sylvia)
