The Queen of Winter
The Queen of Winter
carries her frozen crown
with quiet joy,
its sapphire gems
a burning beacon
within the blizzard.
Snow doves
and white foxes
dash around
her icy gown
as Midwinter hums
cold tunes of solitude.
She marches ahead
through soft snowdrifts
as the arctic wind
tells her its secrets.
