The Queen of Soul Dies

She sang from the depths of her soul
And touched us all with "Respect, Natural Woman" and so many more
Never forgot her gospel roots
And never gave up on her career
She was "one of a kind"
Her legacy isI unmatched
All of you aspiring singers out there in 
the darkness
can learn from her example
She won the "Presidential Medal of Honor"
Rolling Stone said she was the best singer of her time
Aretha Franklin 
The diva has passed into eternity
