The Puppet Show

The Puppet Show

A reflection of our past should tell us something about our future
A blade of grass torn & drifting in the wind
The stage is set for the stars to appear
Draw near and hear perhaps shed a tear

The members are all assembled the conductor is present
A variation of a dream sequence in the figment of our mind
The strings are pulled to alert the players to move
Just got into the groove with a change of mood

Suddenly they sing with such melodic of tunes
A brevity of sounding chimes to make sure everyone is in line
You see God is the conductor pulling his world on a string
The theatre is set for service to our heavenly king

Shadows are torn in formation to its timely ring
Some are lazy & some are willing to bring there all in all
Today we have two responders with Hillary & Trump
One wants to build a wall the other is a no it all

The puppet show may come to a theatre near you
Borrowed chairs and a papal pew
Perhaps we as a society have bitten off far more then we could ever chew
Let's cooperate with the conductor as he chisels his wand upon your soul

Very interesting! Love the analogy you used that God is pulling the strings to the puppet show!
