The Puppet Master

the puppet master has total control
and sometimes the puppet doesn't even have a clue of the life that its living

even though its existing theres always that hole
the one that keeps you from giving

i came into the picture
kinda invited myself in

i was quick in calling you my dear
quick in finding that i couldn't win

because the game had already started
and you were down in the mud
i gave you my love
and you gave me none

i saw the power he had
not over me, but over you
all of this was a little too late
because you already said were through

i then learned who the puppet master was
i knew what i had to do
i thought that my fighting would be enough
even though i tried there was only room to lose

so i told you how it was
the whole time you were blind
opened your eyes to newer things
a totally different side

you thanked the monster
and called me the hero

said i was responsible for everything
in reality only zero

i told you to write your own story
do it with passion
dont think of me
just the ground to throw the ash on

cut the strings behind you head
leave me in your mind as dead

start off strong and keep going faster
you no longer have a puppet master
