The Pulse of a Rose

The pulse of a rose; gentle and slow, like the softly misting raindrops of Spring. A rose breathes and soft petals stretch to the light; of a cascading ray; as it slips towards Earth. It’s pulse beats with each savored breath; velveteen color rolls across each petal; highlighted by crystalline raindrops. Light’s breath reveals and displays a phenomenon that doesn’t really exist; colors of pink, red, yellow, mauve and greens. When I am tired, I sink into a rose for serenity; velvet dreams play on the stage of my mind. It’s milky sweet perfumes scent my spirit.
