The Provider of My Contentment
From the day of my birth, God knew
all about me or so I thought
for scripture says always Gods known
before earth's foundation knew the lot
But this God brings peace and calm
into my soul for HIs love full of grace
perfect contentment deep in my heart
comes looking like a beauty on His face
This peace is simply such perfect peace
only God Himself could bring this about
God is the lover of my soul so amazing!
what blessing I've received without doubt
Although they're times of nervous fear
this God brings me through them all
sometimes thoughts within beat me down
grace bends down to lift me from my fall
But such is the power of God's peace
providing in me such contentment so deep
holds and keeps me within His grip
this is my God for I am His sheep
