The Proposal
I feel like ive known you forever
your always on my mind
leave me I wish you'd never
and my love you'll always find
you stole my heart
the minute you caught my eye
and right from the start
I started to wonder why
i didnt meet you before
and bring you into my life
now theres nothing that i want more
than to have you for my wife
i wish to have you with me
both to have and to hold
a future that we can see
where we love and grow old
so let me take your hand
and give you all that i can bring
and i hope you understand
what i mean by giving you this ring
