The Proposal

I now acquiesce to this with you
May ours be that affaire-de-coeur
Where dubious turmoils never flow,
For you etherea ladyl,
Have fuzzled me enough that I subservient,
By hindsight should have surrendered long ago,
But hither and yon was my heart in fear,
The interstitial thoughts do hamstring us,
I apologised to have lambasted your honor so,
When the quintessential honor is obedience,
For no love so rambunctious before,
Ever a recalcitrant lover drove away from trepidations,
That you titillated laughter meant superfluous feelings
For the emotions that usurped my unvaccillilated will
To love what like the purest gem alone
Make the music of the spheres only a ditty in my heart.
Your troubador sings below your window still.
