The Proposal

Come, let me pour you a glass of wine.
I’ve prepared a platter of fruit and cheese.
Sit, let us share this moment, make some time.
Sweetheart, see me now on bended knee?

This night, I wish to toast us two.
We have two hearts that formed into one.
So much in common with everything we do.
It seems our love cannot be outdone.

We have so much to gain with each other.
I will always be the best I can be.
I love you now and will for always.
So, my darling will you marry me?

I’ll be the happiest man in the world,
if you commit then to being my girl.
