The Promised Land - Song

Not sure how we get there, On a path or in a space ship. Doesn’t really matter, As long as we’ve a relationship. Based on law and love, Providing freedom and great joy, From a loving Heavenly Father, Who created each girl and boy. Chorus I’m longing to be taken To the Promised Land. Not the place called Canaan, But to heaven above so grand! That is my greatest goal; Eternal life with You; To live in one of the twelve stories Of the Jerusalem made new. The Promised Land is calling Each weary soul home. Over this whole world, No longer need to roam. For time is very short And the end is well in view. May the Promised Land be calling Each and every one of you! Copyright © Maureen LeFanue 2008-2012
